Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Sana (the “App” or “Service”), an AI expense-tracker app for iPhone. By downloading, installing, or using Sana, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Sana helps you track personal spending: log and auto-categorize expenses, scan receipts, ask an in-app AI assistant about your spending, and view trends. Your financial data is stored locally on your device. Some features use a third-party AI provider to process the content you submit.

Sana is a personal tool for organizing and understanding your own spending. The categories, summaries, trends, and AI-generated answers it provides are for informational purposes only and are not professional financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice. Always verify important figures yourself and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

• AI can be inaccurate. Receipt parsing and assistant answers are generated by a third-party AI model and may be incomplete, wrong, or unexpected. Review and correct anything before you rely on it.
• You stay in control. You decide what to scan or ask and what to record. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you keep in the app.
• No guarantee. AI results are provided to assist you, not to replace your own judgment or record-keeping.

Sana is free to download. Premium features are available through an auto-renewing subscription:

• Plans. A Monthly plan and an Annual plan are offered. The Annual plan includes a free trial for new subscribers. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region.
• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free trial. If your plan includes a free trial, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Your Apple Account is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Managing & canceling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund policies; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.

Use of the subscription is also subject to Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for licensed applications.

You agree to use Sana lawfully and responsibly. You will not use the App to submit unlawful content, to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service or its AI provider, or to infringe the rights of others. You are responsible for the content you submit and for how you use the results.

The Sana app, its name, design, and original content are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding. The financial data you enter remains yours.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, its AI output, or any financial decision you make. You use the App and its output at your own discretion and risk.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Sana after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
